Enterprise Public Library
July 13, 2020
Dear Library Patrons
We believe we can safely provide “Porch Pick-Up” or “Parking Lot Pick-Up” at this time.
Currently the library is staffed from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday.
Here is our plan to restore some library service in Wallowa County:
The holds function has been turned on for Enterprise. You can browse our on-line card catalog and place items on hold, catalog.sage.eou.edu
Interlibrary loan is running as long as we have courier service. It may take longer to fill holds because some libraries are not staffed or only partially open.
Staff will gather and package those items and contact the patron for pick up times. We will place your requests on the front porch at selected times or bring them out to the parking lot.
If you don’t have internet access or just don’t feel comfortable using SageCat you can call the library Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and give us your request over the telephone. 541)426-3906.
If you do not have a library card or can’t remember the information on a missing card please give us a call at 541)426-3906, Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
If you wish you could access our on-line library and need assistance, we can help. Give us a call. 541)426-3906, Monday – Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
All returns may be dropped in the entry way or the book drop. Staff is not allowed to take them from you at this time.
If Wallowa County remains at the current healthy status this plan will be in place from now until the end of July 2020. At that time an assessment will be made whether it is reasonable to open for scheduled appointments for browsing or limited internet access.
Thank you for being so patient and strong during this difficult time.
Denine Rautenstrauch and Christaery (Rey) Zollman
